About Us

Ayres Home & Garden was set up in 2025 by Matt, after a long stint (25 years!) working in offices. A life long fan of nature and being outside, Matt embarked on a new path and started work at the highly regarded Gotherington Nurseries. Shortly after, he set up Ayres Home & Garden to help local people enjoy their home & garden spaces and now works with both ventures.

Matt is currently studying with the British Academy of Garden Design. He has qualifications including an MSc in Environmental Impact Assessment, and has previously worked in sustainable finance.
